A Return to Childlike Faith
There is a certain feeling I return to whenever I reflect on why I write - a feeling that can be difficult to name unless you have known it yourself.
It is the quiet faith of childhood. The kind that trusts without overanalyzing. The kind that hopes without fear. The kind that believes before doubt learns how to speak.
As we grow older, faith often becomes complicated. Life teaches us caution. Pain teaches us restraint. Experience teaches us to protect our hearts. Slowly, without noticing, trust can turn into effort, and faith can begin to feel heavy instead of free.
But faith was never meant to feel burdensome. At its core, faith is meant to feel close - safe and honest. It is meant to be a place of rest rather than performance, a quiet conversation rather than a constant explanation. It is not about having perfect words or perfect understanding, but about showing up with a willing heart.
This is the heart behind my books.

They are written for the quiet moments - for the whispered prayers, the unanswered questions, and the seasons when strength feels buried but is still present.
